Why are there “pro-choice” Catholics?
Because the parishes they go to allow them to live their delusion that being “pro-choice” is perfectly compatible with Catholic teaching.

Pray for our shepherds to be bold in their speech when it comes to pressing moral issues of the times, such as when Bishop Barron finally spoke out against President Joe Biden.

In my opinion, Bishop Barron being a figure who has a broad audience, and is even known to some as being a “modernist”, a statement like that has a bigger impact coming from him, than it would from a Bishop who is known to be conservative, since Liberal Catholics cannot simply brush Bishop Barron off as being “another one of those uncharitable conservative Bishops”, therefore some of his audience may be called to reflect deeper, seek truth, and reconsider their stance.
