Everyone does naughty things. But there is a stark difference between the person who admits their wrongdoing, versus the person who pretends they are doing nothing wrong.

When your authority on the matters of faith and morals is yourself and your personal interpretation of a book, it means truth is subjective.

And when truth is subjective even for believers of the book, what more can you expect for those who do not believe?

It takes humility to submit yourself to a higher power that is more than just whatever you want God to be.

A Church that safeguards objective truth, dogmatically teaching what is right and wrong, whether you like it or not.

A belief system that does not allow you to simply hop to another church once you hear something you don’t like.

Because truth is true, whether you like it or not.
–
But loving the truth does not mean liking it.
–
Because love has always been more than that.
–
Love was the cross.
And I’m sure He didn’t “like” that.
